Burscough 1- 2 Colwyn Bay - 26/04/01 - League

The Bay completed their first league 'double' of the season, and it was a timely time to do so as they continued their run of recent form with a third
successive week.

The win in Lancashire also gave them a boost in their battle to avoid relegation from the UniBond League Premier Division.

The Bay took the lead after just seven minutes, when Marc Limbert beat Molloy on the right before crossing for Deiniol Graham to score from close range.

The Linnets equalised on 26 minutes when Molloy provided Andy McMullen, who headed powerfully into the net.

The Seagulls regained the lead just after the hour mark when Marc Limbert's stunning 35 yard free kick left Matt Taylor in the Burscough goal stranded.

Colwyn Bay held onto there lead and claim three priceless points, although they could have been punished eight minutes from time when Stuart Rudd missed a golden opportunity to equalise.
