Colwyn Bay 1 - 1 Marine - 01/04/02 - League

With both teams battling at the bottom of the table, this was a game which Colwyn Bay and Marine were desperate to win.

In the end both sides had to settle for a point as was the case in the first game at Crosby a fortnight earlier.

In a scrappy game it was the visitors who took the lead through Ritchie Townsend.

The game was disrupted when the referee, Mr Kershaw had to leave the field due to injury, and the game was delayed as a replacement official was sought.

Stuart Scheuber hit back for Bay who were reduced to ten men in the second half with Jason Jones receiving his marching order from the substitute referee after for a needless off the ball incident.

The Bay could have grabbed all three points, with player manager Colin Caton's powerful header going over the bar.

Colwyn Bay: Billy Stewart, Stuart Scheuber, Owain Roberts(Colin Caton 52), Craig Hogg, Glen Graham(C) (Steve Jones 85), Jason Jones, Marc Limbert, Graham Roberts, James McIlvogue, Robbie Williams, Craig Lawton. Sub not used. Tommy Sykes. Attendance 295.

Glen Graham, a rock in the Bay defence.

A Marine defender fouls Gilly.

More Marine rough stuff, this time on Craig Lawton. Nice view of the hills though.

Another fine game for Bay goalscorer Stuart Scheuber.
