Flexsys Cefn Druids

Colwyn Bay won their opening pre season match, beating Flexsys Cefn Druids at Llanelian Road. James McIlvogue scored a hatrick while Marc Limbert and Jon Fisher-Cooke scored two apiece. After leading 2-0 at half time Bay dominated the second period with new signing Jason Jones from Oswestry Town impressing in midfield. Former Runcorn 'keeper David Williams did well in goal in place of Paul Smith who was unwell. Other new players in the side included midfielders Gary Lewis (ex Bolton and Stockport) and Simon Richards who was facing his former Club.
