This spurred the Bay on and James McIlvogue extended the Bay's lead on 61 minutes. Limbert found the striker and althougb Bentley in the Leek goal made a brave attempt to claim the ball, McIlvogue won the challenge and netted from a tight angle.

The Bay's afternoon was wrapped up when Alun Evans scored his second and the Bay's fourth with a brilliant drive from 25 yards out.

Leek did pull a consolation goal deep into injury time, when substitute Lee Poland scored from close range, but it was too little to late for the
visitors as the Bay secured three vital points.
