Barrow 3 - 2 Colwyn Bay - 13/03/01 - League
The Bay fell to defeat in
the rearranged UniBond League Premier Division game at Holker Street, although
they battled hard and their performances merited more than a 3-2 reverse.
After a goalless first half, the Bay took the lead after 47 minutes through
younsgter Calvin Davies, but the home side replied within a minute through Grant
Holt.
Nicky Peverell then gave Barrow the lead from the penalty spot after Holt was
fouled and the same player wrapped things up six minutes from time.
James McIlvogue scored what was to be little more than a consolation goal for
the Bay in the last minute
